Limestone Boxcars

I had to go to Boonies Mill today on another matter and dropped by  Southern
States to see if anyone could recall shipments of bulk limestone in  doorless
box cars.  No one there was that old.  Does that tell you  anything ?  I did
find out that Southern States also had an office in Rocky Mount that  is
now closed.   Incidentally, those Wabash box cars MAY have  been
constructed at DeCrater Shops.  Wabash built their own, you  know.
