I just recently became aware of NS's Thoroughbred Mechanical Services Web site at:

I was surprised to learn of the variety of "outside" locomotive work done by TMS, e.g., Alaska Railroad, Amtrak, and even competitor CSX!

If you visit the Web site, be sure to check out the Slide Show to see the many "outside" locomotives worked by TMS.  In addition to the locomotives mentioned above, check out the wreck damaged CV 5809.
