The Pikin Spur is a remnant of a line that extended to an ore bank. This was 
located to the east at a point named Zinn. You can see this on the map which 
accompanies the 1916, ( I believe), Annual Report . This is available on CD 
from the Commissary. The wye was located at the top of the hill.
This spur is long gone. Jimmy Lisle worked over this section of the 
Shenandoah Division  and has an extensive knowledge of the line.
