I'm not sure what #34 is, but I thought I'd mention that I saw it the week 
before in Roanoke  near the old Motive Power building in the passenger car shed, 
along with the converted coach and a nearby caboose that was painted grey and 
lettered "RESEARCH". #34 looks somewhat like a slug , doesn't it?
