Powhatan Arrow Drumhead?

I don't think N&W ever used drumheads for any passenger trains other 
than the Powhatan Arrow, and that was only on the observation cars. I 
saw the Arrow a few times in the '60's, and never saw a drumhead.  It 
did occur to me that something like this could have been used at the 
train gate in a major terminal.
