New Road For Bristol

Bristol, Va., Aug. 15 -- Special -- The recent persistent rumor to
the effect that the Kentucky North and South railway, which is
building a line of road in central Kentucky, will have Bristol for
its eastern terminus, now seems to be assuming tangible form. It is
announced that Mr. Edgar F. Pasion, the chief engineer of the road,
will visit Bristol this week to map out a route for a preliminary
survey between Bristol and the Kentucky line. It is stated that the
road will enter Tennessee at or near Jellico, and traversing Hancock
and Hawkins counties, enter Sullivan county near Kingsport, and build
via Blountville to Bristol.
