Jerome,

I've been talking with Brian Crosier, N&WHS Roanoke Chapter president, who has been involved in all these equipment shuttles. He's not sure they're even going to rinse the museum dust of the tops of the locos, so I think putting the parts on the 1218 is probably a long shot.

HAVE TO ASK THIS QUESTION: ANY CHANCE THEY WILL INSTALL THE "MISSING" PARTS ON
# 1218 FOR THE OCCASION ? I'M ASSUMING THOSE PARTS WERE NOT DISCARDED WHEN THE LOCO WAS MOVED TO THE MUSEUM THE FIRST TIME.

JEROME CROSSON
