Roanoke Times - September 21, 1907

Bluefield items

Bluefield, W. Va., Sept. 20 - Special - The Glamorgan line,
between Glamorgan and Norton, was the scene of a bad wreck yesterday.
An engine and two coaches going over an embankment and narrowly
missing going into the river. Several of the passengers were hurt,
among them a Mr. Patterson, of Coeburn, Va., who is thought to be
seriously injured. A defective rail is said to have caused the wreck.
