Having just moved to Goodview, VA, I have a question on the track that runs
next to Goodview Road. Is this a busy line? Is there a set schedule for the
trains?

Kurt:

Welcome to the SML area. Those tracks are the former Virginian main line.
Loaded coal trains going east take this route to avoid the former N&W Blue
Ridge grade. Others more familiar with operations will have to answer on
frequency of trains.

I will contact you off line about model railroading activity in the area.
