Opened Offices in Bristol

Bristol, Va., Nov. 18 - The Kingsport Railway Company, with former
Governor John Cox as president has opened offices in Bristol. The
company held a meeting here Saturday at which time money was paid
into the treasury sufficient to pay the cost of two surveys and such
other expenses as may be incident to the preliminary work. The survey
of one route has been made as far west from Bristol as Indian
Springs, a distance of fifteen miles. President Cox states that the
surveyors are meeting with much encouragement on the part of the
farmers through whose lands the surveys are being made.
