I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but... I was working in
Hopewell, VA this week and lo and behold underneath the 6th Street
Bridge sitting on the scrapyard track is Norfolk and Western Coach 1724
in very poor condition with windows broken out and seats scattered
everywhere. I climbed on board and toured through the car and noticed
that it had red seats, green seats and tan seats in no particular order.
And I also discovered that it only had one restroom facility. The
exterior of the car was very rusted but still dipicted the traditional
N&W tuscan red paint scheme with yellow lettering. In the top corners
was the reporting marks SVRS.

I am interested in the modern history of this car...who does it belong
to...what are their plans...or is it going to scrap.
