RAILROAD FROM RALEIGH TO BRAMWELL CHARTERED

    A charter has been granted to the Flat Top Railroad Company of Charleston to construct a railroad from Raleigh, Raleigh County, to Bramwell, Mercer County.  Capital $10,000.  Incorporators Charles E. Hawkins, Fairmont, G. O. Chilton, P. G. Walker, Charleston.

[Obviously the railroad was never built to connect the designated end points (both in West Virginia) but was any portion of it built? Maybe on the Raleigh end?]
