Turntables in the early 20th Century.

Do you know how long it was?
Could a Y with the 18K tender be turned on it?
Were wye's used more than turntables deep in coal country, up in the  
mountains?

There was a stand-alone in Saltville, Some of the concrete elements  
still exist. They are right behind the post office, adjacent to the  
two under-cover locomotives.
