Flagg Coal Company steam locomotive No. 75 operating at NCTM

Flagg Coal Company No. 75, an 0-4-0 steam locomotive,
will be operating at the NC Transportation Museum in
Spencer on these dates:

April 26 & 27 - part of the Rail Days event
May 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 - each Saturday

During Rail Days, the locomotive will be pulling the
site caboose train. In May, the train will consist of
passenger cars and cabooses.

The trains will operate 6 times a day at the museum,
each lasting 20-25 minutes.

Advance tickets will be available on the museum
website at http://www.nctrans.org in the next few
weeks. Expected ticket are $6 for adults, $5 for
children 3-12 and seniors 60 and older. Museum members
ride free. Check the website for more detailed
information on these trips.

The museum's regular steam locomotives, Buffalo Creek
& Gauley #4 and Graham County Shay 1925 are awaiting
restoration work to return to service. The BC&G #4
should return to service in 2010.
