NEW RAILROAD STARTS MAY 1

Virginia Air Line Will Connect Cincinnati and River Divisions of Chesapeake
and Ohio

The Virginia Air Line Railway, a subsidiary branch of the Chesapeake and
Ohio, which connects the Cincinnati and James River Divisions by a
twenty-five mile line running from Lindsay to Bremo, announces in a
circular signed by President T. O. Troy that the first sixteen miles of the
road will be opened for the transportation of freight and passengers May 1st.
The stations on the line are as follows: Lindsay, Thelma, Zion,
Clarkland, Wildwood and North Palmyra. The service will be daily.
This branch will materially aid the Chesapeake and Ohio in the handling
of its freights, as it will furnish easy grades and other facilities, which
only a railroad man can thoroughly appreciate.
