No connection. Several N&W steam locomotive classes prior to 1900 used
Belpaire fireboxes.

The PRR stock interest in N&W was not purchased until 1900-1901, and by this
time N&W had eschewed the use of Belpaire fireboxes. They were maintained,
however, on power that already had them, and the PRR Pacifics that N&W
bought in 1930 (PRR class K3 to N&W class E-3) had them and kept them until
the end.
