Cents makes sense

I've enjoyed the breakdowns of rates into cents per mileage and it got me thinking about our upcoming  Amtrak excursions with the NCTM/WVC. The breakdown would be as:
 
Round trip from Spencer NC to Charlottesville Va. 442 miles
Coach at $135 = 3.2 cents per mile
First Class at $225= $1.96 cent per mile
