Subject: "Battleship" gonds

In The Pocahontas Division operating timetables dating back at least to 1911
and continuing at least through 1930, under "Special Instructions" headed
"FIGURES TO BE USED IN COMPUTING TONNAGE FOR CARS OF DIFFERENT CAPACITY AND
LOADING," references are made to "Battleships" of 100,000-pound capacity.

When loaded with coal they were to be computed (estimated gross weight) at
78 tons, and when loaded with coke at 67 tons.
