NORTON NEWS NOTES
    The construction of new lines of railway in the Clinch Valley and Pocahontas field is the topic of much interest to everybody.  The race into Dickinson and Buchanan counties between the Virginian and the Norfolk and Western will be watched closely.  The Southern, now as far as Norton, has an eye on the rich coal deposits over in Wise backwoods.  The Daily Telegraph is looked to for interesting news in this direction.
