Just to verify we are on the same page, near set and far set refer the the photo shown recently on this list -- that is, presuming there's been only one photo with that shot taken from a position NE of the stacks? My live viewing had been from both NE and NW positions, the NW positon being from which I could see the high wheel springs and that at least two of the well cars each had two full sets of trucks. Am I correct that the high springs likely mean the containers are empty and thus the tops of the container stacks are at their highest point?

Presuming we are in sync so far, I'd like to verify that:

1 -- the near set (or car) is made up of three articulated well cars (a single truck connecting cars 1 & 2 and cars 2 & 3) with a total of 8 axles

2 -- the far set (or car) is made up of three well cars connected by two drawbars (between cars 1 & 2 and cars 2 & 3) and a total of 12 axles.

In total, we have two cars and 12 containers and, as it appears now, Robb has cleared my confusion. Many thanks ... Bob
