IN CITY AND COALFIELD
------
Has Both Legs Cut Off
William Beckley, a twenty-four-year-old colored man of Chillicothe, Ohio, was run down by a Norfolk and Western train yesterday at Williamson while attempting to steal a ride on a freight train and both legs were cut off at the knee. He was taken to the Williamson railway Y. M. C. A. where he will be cared for until relatives in Ohio can be heard from.
------
[It's hard to imagine that someone so badly injured would be cared for in a railroad Y. M. C. A.]
