It's train show time again.

Just a little reminder of the Fredericksburg, Virginia train show in
only 3-4 days at the convention center there.

Check the Greenberg website for directions but it is not difficult to
find. Shucks, I found it the first time without even reading the
directions. Just drive thru the "gauntlet" of hundreds of shopping
center stores along Carl Silver Parkway for about a mile and you can't
miss it, unless you stop for the other goodies along the way. My
personal favorite stopping places are either breakfast at Cracker
Barrel or for the fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts -- but definitely NOT
both on the same morning. Your choices may be different but I think
you get the point. There's even a Wegman's at the end of the
"gauntlet" to do your home shopping when you are done at the train
show.

Shop for train goodies (food for the mind and ego), and then go to
Wegman's for really neat choices for the dinner table.

However, all the usual train goodies and maybe even some new things
will be there for you to peruse. Books and magazines, both current and
longer ago, models and parts for all gauges, scenery and who knows
what else.

There should also be a good bunch of modular layouts to enjoy live
operations in any number of gauges, for kids of ALL ages. So come one,
come all.

Often, some of the various RR historical society groups are selling
their wares -- at least the RF&P and N&W groups but there have been
others as well.

Hope to see you there.
