CHANGE IN SERVICE OF PULLMAN CARS
------
Gary Sleeper Will Ply Between That Town and Philadelphia Hereafter
For a long time Gary has boasted that it has had a Pullman running between that place and New York, but after today the boast will have to be cut down as the car will not run further than Philadelphia, which will be some satisfaction to the people from this section who have had to get out of the car at north Philadelphia and then take a street car or taxi-cab to the section of the city they wished to visit. In the future the car will run into the Broad street station and will leave from the same station. Another Pullman car over the Norfolk and Western will leave New York on the Buffalo Express and will ply between New York and Winston-Salem on the Southbound Railroad, which is jointly owned by the Norfolk and Western and Atlantic Coast Line. Passengers from New York for this section can leave New York on this car and go as far as Roanoke or Philadelphia, at which point they may take the regular Pullman to the main line stations on the Norfolk and Western.
