is the early morning arrival of an N&W passenger train on the B&O on
trackage rights at WINTON PLACE Station looking north at the Mitchell
Avenue end with the N&W train heading into Cincinnati Union Terminal. The
building with the clock tower on the left side of the slide is the
Cincinnati Car Company factory where the curved side street cars were
built.

Winton Place station was just south of NA tower which was the split of the
B&O Ohio Division and the Big Four tracks going up to Sharon Yard in
Sharonvile and thence to Dayton. Winton Place was the last station north
of CUT so it had most B&O, NYC, PRR and N&W trains stopping there both
inbound and outbound in the early 1950's. Smart passengers got on there as
access to Winton Place was easier than going downtown to CUT.

This depot is preserved in WINTON WOODS park in Sharonville today where it
was restored and renamed back to its old name of Chester Park. Chester
Park was the old amusement park run by the Cincinnati Street
Railway/Cincinnati Car Company. The factory bulding and clock tower was
demolished about 7 years ago.
