John: There was a series of articles and little notes in the war year
employee magazines that covered employees and children/relatives that were
in the service. I am not positive that every employee was noted that
served. But, you would likely need to search each issue from January 1942
through the 1946 issues. At this time the employee magazines are not yet
scanned.

Hi all,
Is it possible to find out if a employe served overseas during the war? My
wife's grandfather worked for the N&W at Wheelersberg Ohio. He gave grandma
a lamp from Japan that story has it he got while he was there. But nobody in
the family can remember him traveling, unless it was before they were
married.
Thanks, John Musgrove
