"J" series engineer

Hello,

 

I am looking for any information on my grandfather, William E. Ackinson, date of birth: March 20, 1879 and date of death October 27, 1970.  I believe he retired in 1942 or 1943.  He brought the first streamlined "J" series engine on its maiden run.  

 

I think there was an article in NW Magazine Vol. 19, No. 8  dated 08/01/1941.

 

Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.
