AM&O 1874 Listing in Official Guide

Actually it says right on the respective listings - AM&O was on  
"Washington time" and ETV&G was on "Knoxville time."  Without  researching for the 
specific difference, I suspect Knoxville time was maybe  about a half hour 
earlier than Washington time, so there would actually have  been more difference 
in arrival/departure times.

At first glance it seems that the westbound AM&O train  arrived in Bristol 
soon after the ETV&G train left, but remember that  it is before standard 
time. There should be a page in front of the book that  tells the time 
differences.
