Y3a BLE Tender

Jimmy:  The story was that these were purchased to be put behind K-1's
replacing the 16,000 gal tenders that were presumably beyond repairing.  See
"N&W Giants of Steam"  and the tenders articles in the ARROW.  Given the
date of the photo, it would seem that the K-1 was scrapped or removed from
service and the tender added to the Y-3a to replace an older 18,000 gallon
jobbie.   Steel rusts.
