1895 at Kenova: N&W and C&O crossing

The 1895 N&W-C&O crossing at Kenova was probably the crossing of N&W's 
Kenova Belt Line and the C&O main line, about a mile east of N&W's Ohio 
River bridge crossing over the C&O at the former two-level passenger 
station.  The Belt Line gave the N&W access to industries along the river.

As I recall, in later years the location was known on the C&O  as "KV" 
Cabin, and the triple-track C&O main line was crossed through a series of 
crossovers.  N&W customers on the Belt Line included rail-to-river coal 
docks.
