Given the amount of discussion which occurred on this List a months or so ago concerning water tanks, I thought the attached article, from the October 21, 1922, issue of Railway Age, might be of interest.  It concerns the relative merits of wooden vs concrete water tanks and mentions a few of the problems encountered with early concrete tanks.  The PDF is only one page.
