Head-on on the Punk

HWB -

While “enjoying” a trip on the Sperry Car on the Scioto, Paul Blankenship told of a head-on collision on the Punkinvine that killed five of the six head-end crew members. It was probably in the 1910s or 1920s because both engines were described as being class Z’s.

I can’t find any ICC report on this. Do you have any ideas? Might have been the Clinch, or even the Bristol Line or Peavine, but Paul spoke in terms of north and southbound, which points to the Punk.

Appreciate any info anyone might have about this . . .
