Four consist sheets for N&W train 4 Cincinnati/Columbus to Norfolk March
1954.
Five intermediate points where cars were cut into and out of the train:
Portsmouth, Williamson, Bluefield, Roanoke, and Petersburg.  Westbound
train 3 was not identical.  For example the Greensboro to Cincinnati
storage mail car routed Lynchburg to Roanoke train 9, Roanoke to Portsmouth
train 23, then train 3 (Pocahontas) Portsmouth to Cincinnati.  And to think
N&W was not a major player in the passenger business.
