Where was the "other" depot down along the James River?

See http://www.brucebharper.info/nwrwy/Lynchburg/index.html for a 1927 map of Lynchburg that shows the river crossing Daniels Island. The Google satellite view of that area around Daniels Island shows the piers in the river, as this view shows.
