N&W Tower and Station Blinds

I am looking for information if blinds were used in N&W towers and/or
stations? And if they were what type and color were they. I am finishing a
american model builders tower and was looking at the large windows thinking
that some sort of blinds would have been used. I have not been able to find
any information.
