The Texas

Was able to do a twilight photo of the Texas now nicely displayed at the
Atlanta History Museum in Buckhead, GA. My reading informed me this
famed Civil War locomotive ran between Atlanta and Saltville, VA carrying
firewood north to the furnaces in Saltville and vital salt back to the
Confederacy. At the conclusion of the hostilities it apparently was in fact
in Virginia —- probably on tracks that now are a familiar part of the
Bristol line.
