Passenger Trains

You never say “never”; as soon as you say no N&W passenger train ever operated in or out of Norfolk with a caboose, someone will come up with a photo of one.

But nearly never is OK.  Not as a general rule.

​Thanks.  As a child, I saw many N&W passenger trains ​(mostly J Class) past through South Norfolk, but just couldn't remember if a caboose was there or not.

During the 1950s, when J class engines pulled passenger cars into and out of Norfolk, were cabooses ever used?
