1960 NRHS convention questions

I have 2 Kodachromes of SOU 4192 with captions stating Natural Tunnel,
9-1960.  Green F-7 with N&W coaches.  I tried finding info about this
convention on the NRHS site but nothing there (several 1957 videos if you're
interested).

 

What were the details about this convention?  I know 475 and a Southern
Silverside gon (brand new) were displayed in Bristol and I've seen a poor
slide of 2 Redbirds hauling a passenger train, likely a special with
conventioneers, at the Abingdon station.  I'd like to know more about this
convention, especially excursion trips.
