A question… Recently I purchased an MTH N&W Y3 #2022.  However, looking at your excellent photo of the Y3, I am wondering why my model does not look a lot closer to #2033; specifically the Y steam pipes to the front cylinders.

Neat picture. What a great view and, until the cinders take over, a chance to hear some great stack talk too. Love the Y-3 class engines.

We've probably heard enough about doghouses, but this is one of my favorites.  The brakeman is out for some air.  An N&W photo.  Y3 2033 blt Alco Schenectady 1919, scrapped 5-1958. I found it at a show years ago.
