"Before NS sends a wide-nosed GE to tow No. 2156 back to Missouri, I hope
that someone steps up strikes a deal. The Y6 should stay in Roanoke, where
it was born and worked. It should stay there so that the N&W Big Three can
spend eternity as one mighty fleet of some of the best of American steam.
It’s the right thing to do. We don’t need another round of “Free the Y6”
bumper stickers."
