Glenn,
I was being facetious about the need for more issues. I think things are just right as they are. Quality products take time and this is one of the best RRHS magazines out there. I think it's THE BEST and I'm a member of several. Quality varies greatly depending on staff, volunteers and information available. We have the best combination of them all.
Many thanks to all who produce the Arrow in any capacity. Don't change it up.

Speaking as one of the authors of an ongoing series for The Arrow, I find it very difficult to produce an article more often than once every three months.  Think of our poor editor who must receive articles, have others proof read them, find photos to support the text, draw a map and then put everything together to come up with a polished issue every three months.  I believe that the excellent quality of The Arrow would suffer if it were to appear more often. LOL       I eagerly await its arrival and can hardly wait for the next issue.       We are very lucky to have such a well done magazine from the Society. Great photographic reproduction and interesting articles all the time. Very few errors and good editing make for a superb high-quality magazines. Many thanks to those who are involved.......now get busy as we crave MORE! I'm enjoying the articles very much along with the photography in it. Keep up the great work! I might still submit my response to the survey in that issue. This was going from Roanoke to suburban Richmond, just a bit over 200 miles away.       We ship everything with tracking. About the 22nd or so of July, the person emails and asks when he could expect his package. I went back in and tracked the package. It had last been scanned on July 11 at a mail center in Texas, then two days later at another mail center in Texas. I got another print made, packed and ready to ship, decided to track one more time. It had been scanned about an hour before in Richmond, so it probably went for actual delivery the next day or so. Over a month to go 200 miles.       This is only one example. The post office, in its infinite wisdom a few years back, decided to close the Roanoke sort center, and ship everything to Greensboro, even it is going from Roanoke to Vinton or Salem, less than 10 miles either way. So if you drop it in the box in Salem, it goes to Roanoke, to Greensboro, then back to Roanoke then to Salem. Total insanity.       Anyway, it usually takes about 2-3 weeks from the time the magazine is sent to the printer before it goes out to mail.       Best Ken Miller       > On Mar 16, 2021, at 5:45 PM, NW Mailing List via NW-Mailing-List < nw-mailing-list at nwhs.org> wrote: > > Ken, > I just got the Jan/Feb/Mar copy, which is a great read. > Am I hearing that mine took 3 months to get here? > Phil Miller > > -----Original Message----- > From: NW-Mailing-List [mailto: nw-mailing-list-bounces at nwhs.org] On > Behalf Of NW Mailing List > Sent: Tuesday, March 16, 2021 4:12 PM > To: NW Mailing List > Subject: Re: ARROW > > Jeff > > Not as of yet.
