Seven miles of the James River Heritage Trail In Lynchburg is the former N&W old mainline (V&T) .  I’ve noticed three line poles still standing and parts of others. They all are on the north side of the right of way and 30-40  from the center of the trail. I expect there is documentation in the archives about the distance. Aubrey Wiley, Lynchburg.

Thanks for sharing this information.  In all my years I have never
noticed this alternating side of the pole.
