N&W Railbox boxcars

I was reading a history of Trailer Train in a 1990 issue of "Railroad
Model Craftsman", and it mentioned in the early 1980s, many of the
Railbox boxcars were sold back to the railroads, including N&W. I'm
curious if this means there were Railbox boxcars with the reporting
marks patched over with N&W? I've tried some quick searches online and
in the archives, but haven't found any pictures yet.
