I finally got to pull down my copy of the TTX story by Dick Dawson, very good book for reference anything TTX.

So on March 1, 1983 the TTX Co. had to return some equipment to the Guarantor Raillroads.  Numbers 15000-15675 were returned to 
the NJII(N&W).  These were TTX class XPF11 from PS and 663 cars were returned with all getting SOU 15000 - 15699 reporting marks.

Also returned were 315 TTX class XFF10 built by FMC numbered 17700 - 18023 which also got Southern numbers. 
SOU 17700 - 17999 (292 cars) and 18000 - 18023 which has disposition unknown.

I will try and look later but I don't think there is anything in my Southern drawing books on these cars.  
Also this car in the 15000 number looks like a FMC car.
