Carl

The N&WHS magazine is now in its 40th year, it has been known as the Arrow for sometime.

The N&W company magazine was issued from June 1923 to June 1982, when the merger with Southern ended it.

The article referred to is in the Norfolk and Western Magazine. I will see if we have one in our surplus magazines, of which there are not a big selection. But the N&W Magazine will be coming soon, available in digital download form, we are simply not ready yet.

The scheme was revised on October 16, 1968 to exclude painting the galvanized metal roofs and running boards. Other minor revisions were made later in 1968 and in 1969. The blue scheme was applied to all class C31 cabooses and to many of the other original N&W and merger road cabooses.
