My model of the 1702 (for which Grant has posted pictures) was kitbashed from a Rivarossi 12-1 body. I cut out the window panels and scratchbuilt all new windows. Underbody boxes were rearranged. Roof is from an Eastern Car Works Osgood Bradley coach, and the trucks are modified from the ECW OG kit.

   Hello Jim,
Thank you! Images of your model #1702 are attached, I'll post to the modeling list and please chime in with particulars.

So far as I know, no HO models of the PJ have ever been produced. I kitbashed one for Grant Carpenter a few years ago, as they ran on 23 and 24.

Have any HO scale models of the N&W PJ coach been produced? The Virginian Railway leased # 1702  & 1703 for a short time after the Virginian State Corporation rule that the VGN must make a sincere effort to increase ridership by offering improved equipment (from Aubrey Wiley's Virginian Railway Memories).  Thanks, Bob Cook Chesapeake, VA
