I am not very specific about the model train items I buy.
If I like it, I will get it prototypical or not.
I haven't had a layout since 2005ish but have continued to to accumulate
model train items and build/scratch build things. Buildings, bridges,
trestles...
The NWHS archives are stuffed full of great things to build. Buildings,
bridges, trestles...
One of my favorite things to do is see a building I like that might not
have had rail service and build it to accommodate rail service.
I have a layout designed for a part of the Cincinnati district that has to
do with the old line new line between the Plum Run quarry and Mineral
Springs station. Getting the chance to build it??? Will it be absolutely
specific to the way it was/is. NOPE. I don't hold myself to specific years
of operation. Not sure what group I would fit into.
This is my hobby not my job. This is my dream world. Please do not tread on
my dream.
