Indeed... and would be a stretch to replicate that scene on a layout set in the region west of Roanoke into the direction of Bristol, Galax, Pulaski, etc....
For the money I think I would rather buy a BLI "A"....

PRR 611x (x=0 or 1) was a T1. Given you already have a Spectrum model, all
you need to get is a BLI PRR T1 to duplicate the scene - and of course some
extensive modelling <G>.

Not to be ignorant but what "other railroad" would that have been? NYC? PRR?
Thanks for sharing though, its an awesome picture and I happen to have a Spectrum model of 610 that I was just running a few moments ago on the New River & Roanoke RR in the basement...

A friend recently send me this photo of J 610 at Chicago in the 1940s, ostensibly while being tested by "that other railroad." I do not know the source of the photo.
As sent here for the list, I've reduced both the size and the pixel count from the original. The original is almost 12" wide and scanned at 200/dpi, so would make you a nice print. If anyone wants the original image, write me at pravoslavna at gmail.com and I'll send it.
