Strasburg - N&WHS Convention

My mother visited the Amish shops last year and it didn't dawn on her to
bring the checkbook as she quickly realized that most (at least the shops
she visited) of the Amish do not accept credit cards as that involves modern
technology. Just a heads up for all the fellas bringing their wives.

Nothing for your wife to do?  While you're doing the Strasburg/Museum
activity, give her your Visa card and the keys to the car.  There are so
many Amish shops around there that she'll return with a car load of stuff
and a great big smile on her face.
