No, the 1218 was not in the consist of the eastbound Pocahontas pulled by
the 759. She had not been in Roanoke for very long after finally arriving on
loan from Steamtown USA in Bellows Falls, Vermont. She had been cosmetically
restored and was on display on one of the tracks at the N&W's Roanoke
passenger station on the day that the 759 pulled the final run of the
Pocahontas.
