F-units

[NW Modeling List]

The N&W obtained about 100 F's and a few E units from the Wabash
lease/purchase in 1964.  These generally stayed on the ex-WAB lines until
they were retired or leased to the CNJ in the late 1970's.  A few
Canadian-built stayed up in Ontario Canada to operate with trackage rights
over the CN- Windsor to Buffalo NY.

I saw an add from Bowser showing F-units lettered for Norfolk and Western. I
did not know that Norfolk and Western owned or ran F-units
